EDWARDSVILLE, IL – Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Makers Market will bring together more than 60 local makers and small businesses at Edwardsville’s City Park for an afternoon celebrating creativity, community, and shopping small. Admission is free.

Hosted by Kristin McCaw, of Keepsake Candle Company and Leah Longueville, of Polished Prints, the one-day outdoor market offers an opportunity to discover unique, locally made and thoughtfully curated goods just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Visitors can browse a diverse collection of handmade goods, artwork, vintage finds, home décor, accessories, and gifts from independent makers and small businesses. Beyond shopping, attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music, and drinks from Cleveland Heath, creating an inviting atmosphere for friends, families, and neighbors to spend an afternoon together.

Makers Market was created to spotlight the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the local community while connecting shoppers directly with the people behind the products they love.

“There is so much talent and creativity in our local community, and Makers Market is a way to highlight those makers in one place. We love creating opportunities for small businesses to share what they do, connect with new customers, and be part of something that celebrates shopping small in a meaningful way.”, said Longueville.

With the holiday season approaching, the market offers shoppers a chance to find distinctive gifts, support small businesses, and experience the talent and creativity of the Edwardsville-area community in one place.

“We want Makers Market to feel like more than a shopping event. It’s about discovering something special, meeting the people behind the businesses, and experiencing the creativity that makes our community unique. With the holidays approaching, it’s also a reminder that where we shop matters, and supporting these small businesses keeps those dollars in our own community.” said McCaw
