ST. LOUIS, MO / September 2, 2025 – Legend has it that something mysterious has been lurking around Clementine’s Ice Cream…and it’s launching today! The new Cryptids Collection has been unveiled and is in stores now.

Cryptids are the creatures of folklore: elusive, unproven, and lurking just beyond the edge of belief. Inspired by legends from forests, lakes, and skies, this limited-edition collection brings each cryptid mystery to life through bold and unexpected flavors. Each scoop is a tribute to the unknown, crafted to tempt, haunt, and maybe even leave a footprint behind.
Beginning today, guests can visit any of the nine area locations to try the new flavors:

Nessie – From the depths of the loch comes a white espresso ice cream made with Plaid Coffee Roasters’ Nessie blend, streaked with salted caramel. Smooth, shadowy, and not to be trusted.

Jersey Devil – From the shadows of the Pine Barrens comes a spicy barbecue ice cream peppered with Old Vienna Red Hot Riplets seasoning and a dash of caramelized hot honey. It’s eerie, addictive, and not for the faint of tongue.

Bigfoot – From deep in the forest comes a shadowy blend of chocolate and coconut, laced with smoke and studded with roasted almonds and marshmallows. Sweet, elusive, and wilder than it looks. (Vegan)

Mothman – Born from the fog of Point Pleasant, this bitter black cocoa ice cream tangles with glowing streaks of raspberry jam. Bold, watchful, and known to linger just over your shoulder.
In addition to the new Cryptids Collection launching today, guests will also find comforting fall flavors on the rail, including Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake and Campfire Grahams. Mark your calendar for September 30th for the return of fan-favorite flavor Monster Mash that is a candy lover’s dream, and the debut of Geldimar the first-ever ice cream flavor created via fan voting.
Guests are invited to visit any of the nine ice cream shops located at 1637 S. 18th Street in historic Lafayette Square, 730 DeMun in Clayton, 4715 Macklind in the Southampton neighborhood, 140 W. Argonne Drive in Kirkwood, 13426 Clayton Road in Town & Country, The Meadows Shopping Center in Lake St. Louis, 308 N. Euclid in the Central West End, Trace on the Parkway in Edwardsville, IL and inside the Chicken n Pickle in St. Charles, MO. A Kansas City parlor is set to open later this month.
