St. Louis — Opening on TODAY, Tuesday, May 27, Basso On The Plaza is the latest delicious addition to the mixed use Westport Plaza entertainment district from Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM).

The sister restaurant to the popular Basso at The Cheshire is making its debut featuring hand-crafted signature pizzas as well as wood-fired steaks and seafood, Basso On The Plaza is a sophisticated environment with an open kitchen and warm fireplace on the inside and a large and lively dining patio overlooking the Plaza’s event greenspace. The dining room is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows letting natural light flood the space during the day and reflecting a fairyland of lights from the Plaza at night.

The Basso menu also includes house-made pastas, imaginative appetizers and modern Italian tastes complemented by an expansive list of Italian wines and specialty cocktails. Explore the menu at www.basso-stl.com.

Basso On The Plaza is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 545 West Port Plaza Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146. Lunch service will begin later this summer. Reservations are available for groups of two to 12 people. Private spaces are perfect for groups of up to 48 guests. Happy Hoour specials from 4 to 6 p.m.

Located near I-270 and Page, Westport Plaza has received a glow up with the recent addition of outdoor event green space in the middle of the site, plus both the instantly popular 360 Westport at the top of the Plaza’s Gold Tower and The Rawlings Experience baseball attraction. The Plaza has become a live-work neighborhood with the opening of The Porter, a luxury apartment community now leasing.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
