St. Louis –– This Mardi Gras season you can be the “LIFE OF THE MARDI” with Soda Fountain’s new and delicious seasonal Freak Shake.

“Life of the Mardi” is available now through March 4 at the retro diner restaurant at St. Louis Union Station.

This season’s overstuffed shake is a nod to the classic Mardi Gras Hurricane cocktail with fruit punch-flavored ice cream served in a sprinkled-rim glass, topped with a heaping slice of King Cake, a candy necklace, a Mardi Gras mask, two party blowers, whipped cream and a cherry.

This shake is all-ages approved (non-alcoholic) but adults have the option of adding a shot of Cruzan Spiced Rum for $5. “Life of the Mardi” is priced at $18.

“Life of the Mardi” joins a menu of classic Freak Shakes and diner delights such as smash burgers, hot dogs, chili, sandwiches, fries, onion rings and a full list of ice cream treats.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
