Super Mario Obstacle Course
Objective: Race through a Mario-themed obstacle course, collecting coins and avoiding “enemies” just like Mario!
Materials Needed:
- Yellow paper or foam cutouts (to act as coins)
- Cardboard boxes (to create tunnels, pipes, or walls)
- Balloons (for Goombas—Mario must jump over them!)
- Red cones or pillows (as lava pits to jump across)
- Hula hoops (as warp pipes—players must jump into them!)
- Mario music (optional, for extra fun!)
Instructions:
- Set Up the Course – Arrange obstacles in a backyard, living room, or playground. Place coins along the way for players to collect.
- Start Line – Players start as Mario (or Luigi, Peach, etc.). They must navigate the course while avoiding “enemies” like balloon Goombas or pillow lava pits.
