Alex-Before-HarryElephantYesterday my little guy went to The Hairy Elephant and got his hair cut. His hair was getting pretty shaggy so my wife and I decided we needed to get this hair under control. Our original appointment was cancelled because of the snow on Monday. We rescheduled for Wednesday and that morning Alex got his very first hair cut.

At The Hairy Elephant Alex received the royal treatment. He picked out a Mini Cooper for his chair and Sesame Street to watch. He paid close attention to Elmo as the stylist did her thing. After his hair cut he was pampered with an elephant hair wash. As you can see he is looking sharp and all set for his first birthday in a couple of weeks. If I’m completely honest with you, it was a little sad seeing him getting his hair cut. It’s one of those steps that all parents go through that just shows that they won’t be kids forever.

All in all, I am extremely happy that Alex did so well getting his hair cut. No crying or fussing at any point. To any dad or mom looking for a place that does great children’s hair cuts. The Hairy Elephant is the place to be.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
