St. Louis — The Peacock Loop Diner has created something to FLIP for as it celebrates 10 years in the Delmar Loop.

The delicious “Pancake Challenge” will test even the greatest pancake lover’s abilities.

One guest must finish all five of Peacock Loop Diner’s large specialty pancakes in just 30 minutes or less. If they succeed, the stuffed guest will get their meal comped along with their choice of a free Peacock T-shirt or tumbler. The successful eater also will get their photo on the Wall of Fame at the Peacock Loop Diner in a nod to Joe Edwards’ St. Louis Walk of Fame on the sidewalks of the Delmar Loop.

The five pancakes featured in the challenge are: Very Berry Pancakes, Chocolate Pecan Pancakes, Bacon Bacon Pancakes, Blueberry Lemon Pancakes and Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.

The Pancake Challenge began this week in honor of National Pancake Day and will run indefinitely.

In addition, for the 10th Anniversary month of October, Peacock Loop Diner will offer a $10 special of a burger, fries & soft drink. They also will roll out special birthday cake ice cream shakes (both spiked and non-alcoholic versions) for the month of October.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
