St. Louis — Take fright and fun to a new level this season at City Museum with unique experiences for all ages every Friday-Sunday beginning September 28 and continuing through October 26.
Step into a world of spine-tingling wonder in this one-of-a-kind Halloween festival. Fright at the Museum will amaze, mystify, and thoroughly entertain during a journey through a realm of oddities and curiosities that will leave everyone both thrilled and captivated.
Exhibits and spooky decor throughout the museum provide an immersive experience like never before. Visitors can dare to venture into the unknown as they explore carefully curated exhibits of the bizarre, the enigmatic, and the extraordinary. From artifacts that defy explanation to peculiar specimens that challenge the limits of imagination, Fright at the Museum promises an unforgettable encounter with the unconventional. Entertainers and specialty bars add to the atmosphere. Guests will experience all of this Halloween magic in addition to City Museum’s hands-on fun for the regular admission price.
ENTERTAINMENT
Brace for heart-pounding performances that will push the boundaries of possibility. Witness the breathtaking artistry of world-renowned contortionists as they twist their bodies into unimaginable shapes, blurring the lines between human capability and artistic expression. Be awestruck by the mesmerizing display of fire manipulation as a skilled performer dances with flames in a symphony of light and heat.
AmoraFire
A former Circus performer with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, AmoraFire is considered one of the elite fire performers in the industry. Glitz, glamour, showmanship, and her unsurpassed skill level along with her ability to engage her audience is what has made her so sought after. AmoraFire’s fire manipulation act is not only soulful and enthralling, but will keep you clapping, cheering, and on the edge of your seat as she defies logic and executes mind-boggling feats with fire. AmoraFire has been featured gracing the stages of world-renowned venues such as Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, and Sea World. Just to name a few. This is AmoraFire’s second year returning to City Museum’s Fright at the Museum event.
Kristy and Caitlin Reichel
Merging the world of flexibility into the strength of a traditional Chinese Pole performance, this act is built to amaze. Kristy and Caitlin Reichel are internationally known for their circus arts. Here in America they have worked with artists like Pitbull and John Travolta, while also traveling the world with USO tours and international events. From Japan to Jamaica, their skills have dazzled the world.
Fire performers and contortionists will be on stage at the following times. (Asterisks denote kid-friendly shows.)
- Wednesday: 12:30*, 2 and 4 p.m.
- Thursday: 12:30*, 2 and 4 p.m.
- Friday: 4*, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 2*, 3:30*, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:30*, 2* and 3:30 p.m.*
Kids will love the not-so-spooky storytelling witch who will be spinning her Halloween yarns at the museum Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
VAMPIRE BAR – Creatively Creepy Cocktails
Step into the shadows and into the allure of the night where darkness and decadence intertwine on City Museum’s third floor. Indulge in the mystique of vampire lore and enter a realm of intoxicating ambiance and tantalizing flavors. Sip on rich, crimson elixirs that transport 21+ guests to a world where mortals and immortals coexist.
COVEN & CAULDRON – A Witches’ Pub Experience
Enter a world of magic, mystery, and a dash of the macabre at Coven & Cauldron – the ultimate witches’ pub experience on the first floor. From enchanting concoctions to brews, this is where the supernatural and the extraordinary converge. Step into the dimly lit pub and embrace the mystic energy that surrounds everyone from curious mortals to practicing witches.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best for Fright at the Museum, but no full face masks or capes are allowed for safety.
