Tenacious Eats and Work & Leisure are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of 1984’s holiday classic “Gremlins.”

Come join the fun on Saturday, November 16, 2024, and enjoy the film, 5 courses served during the movie that are themed to various scenes, 80s film trivia, costume contest, door prizes and your own personal Mogwai direct from Mr. Wing’s Emporium! (Just kidding or ARE we?)

What is Tenacious Eats?

Unexpected! Visceral! Titillating! Brought to you in High Definition Taste-O-Vision!

By integrating film and food, Tenacious Eats “Movies for Foodies” creates an original experience, a feast for the senses, an event that brings food and film, chefs and diners together.

We only work with locally produced food procured by us and hard-to-find ingredients, imported from places that specialize in them. With each new film, we write a new menu specific to its story. Sometimes the menu is literal and sometimes it is inspired by interpretation. In all cases, each dining experience is different because each film is different.

No dress code, but costumes are always encouraged and rewarded!

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
