St. Louis — A new full-color coffee table book comes out at the end of November, showcasing 38 years of beloved corner window displays by Linda Edwards at Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Music Club.

Linda opened Blueberry Hill in 1972 with Joe Edwards and in 1986 began staging her visually striking displays with innovative live performances in the corner space of the building with expansive windows facing onto the street on two sides.

The one‑of‑a‑kind creative displays range from holiday tours de force like Trimming Santa’s Tree, Easter Bunny’s Kitchen, and Irish Bachelor on St. Patrick’s Day to off‑the‑wall concepts like Rosemary’s Baby Shower and The Terrifying Dentist’s Chair on Halloween.

Linda’s corner window displays and live shows electrify passersby in the Delmar Loop arts and entertainment district. Her window is a powerhouse of drama, wit, humor, and style. She has used her public art space to stage over 200 visually‑dazzling display windows that pack a ground‑breaking creative punch, by turns stunningly elegant and drop‑dead hilarious.

This book details her oeuvre with beautiful full‑color photographs and a fun, succinct one‑paragraph analysis of each show window. The high-quality art coffee table book will cost only $25 for one, $40 for two and will be available for purchase at Blueberry Hill beginning mid-November and on Blueberry Hill’s website now.

Book Signing Event Inside the Famous Window on November 30

There will be a book-signing event inside Linda’s famous window at Blueberry Hill with Linda Edwards and her daughter Hope Edwards, who wrote and designed the book, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Small Business Saturday on November 30) from 1 pm to 4 pm. It’s a fabulous affordable gift for the holidays.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
