St. Louis, MO – Pin-Up Bowl, the eclectic, intimate bowling alley and lounge nestled in the heart of the Delmar Loop has new owners.

Popular St. Louis radio personality and musician Moon Valjean — a longtime co-host of The Rizzuto Show on 105.7 The Point — and a touring musician with Goldfinger and Greek Fire, as well as formerly of Story of the Year — has joined restaurant partners Ben Strake and Rick DeStefane of Tamm Ave Bar, Byrd & Barrel, and Tenderloin Room in acquiring the 23-year-old venue from its original owner, Joe Edwards.
“I wanted someone who has the best interests of the neighborhood and The Loop to carry Pin-Up Bowl into the future,” said Edwards. “I’m excited to see more events and partnerships with the community take place in their very capable hands. The future looks bright!”
“I actually met Joe’s daughter, Christine Edwards, more than five years ago playing pickleball,” said Strake. “What started as a shared love of the game eventually led to conversations about business and our similar experiences growing up around the hospitality industry. Years later, I was fortunate that she kept me in mind when her father began considering the sale of one of his businesses. My partners and I have tremendous respect for what Mr. Edwards has built and the care he’s always shown for his community and his people. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity—and responsibility—to carry that torch forward in The Delmar Loop.”

Moon Valjean is looking forward to utilizing his vast musical background and network to develop more collaborations with Pin-Up Bowl and the community. “As a proud St. Louisan, I wouldn’t be where I am today without Joe Edwards, The Pageant, and everything the Edwards family has done for artists and people like me in this city,” said Valjean. “My career was shaped inside Joe’s venues, so becoming part of the Pin-Up Bowl legacy feels incredibly meaningful. This is an opportunity to give back to the community that has supported me for so many years. Pin-Up Bowl already has a rich history and an incredible staff. We’re here to build on that foundation and add momentum. I’m honored and excited to help push it forward with renewed energy, memorable experiences, and a strong rock-and-roll spirit. My goal is to make Pin-Up Bowl a destination not just for new generations in St. Louis, but for the countless artists and touring acts who come through our great city. Long live St. Louis entertainment!”
Patrons can expect the same great bar program and mouth-watering pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers. Hours of operation are not expected to change.

Located at 6191 Delmar in The Loop, Pin-Up Bowl is open seven days a week and features eight lanes of bowling in an intimate atmosphere. The multiple display cases filled with bowling artifacts and 1940s pin-up girl memorabilia make this a truly unique destination.
