Working as an illustrator on the children’s book How Come I Got The Hiccups with author Jennifer O’Connor has been a truly rewarding experience. From the outset, Jennifer’s vision for the book was clear and inspiring. Her whimsical storytelling provided a vibrant canvas for my illustrations, allowing me to bring the quirky characters and enchanting scenes to life. Collaborating with Jennifer was a seamless process; her feedback was always constructive, and her enthusiasm for each illustration made the project both enjoyable and creatively fulfilling.

The book, now available on Amazon and Jennifer’s website (howcomeigotthehiccups.com), has been met with great enthusiasm. Seeing the final product, with my illustrations perfectly complementing Jennifer’s engaging narrative, is immensely gratifying. The positive responses from readers and the joy it brings to children make all the hard work worthwhile. How Come I Got The Hiccups is not just a book but a delightful journey, and I am proud to have been a part of its creation. Look out for more stories from Jennifer O’Connor’s world of imagination along with my illustrations bringing that world to life!

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
