The holidays are here! So what better time than to list off some of my favorite gift ideas for this holiday season. In this list I have ideas for everyone in the family… Or at least I hope you’ll find something that they’ll like, if not then just get them some coal.

To start off the list why not hop on the bandwagon and get something that the entire family will enjoy, Disney+.

With the new content and the large catalog of Disney content, Disney+ is sure to be a hit for all in the family. You cannot go wrong with this subscription stuffed into a stocking.

Holiday His and Her Stocking Stuffer

Speaking of stockings, a great stocking stuffer from Shinesty.com are these very cute and very sexy “So that’s how coke is made trio”, a set of boxer, bralette, and cheeky underwear pack.

This set and many of the other combo packs feature adorable animals in very naughty predicaments. A great way to surprise your significant other and keep things exciting during the holiday season. Shinesty.com has a wide range of options in their holiday collection. Head on over to their site to see more!

A View Into Space

For the kid in your life it’s always important to find things for dad and child to do together. That’s where I believe science can play an important role in both of your lives!

One of my favorite things to do is to gaze up at the stars. So why not explore all of great options of telescopes out there. Amazon has a lot of options, but there are even options out there to build your own. Grab a kit or watch a few YouTube videos and see what you and your kiddo can find in the sky!

A Lifetime Memory

Another great idea for gifts this year is instead of actual gifts, give memories. There are so many cool places to go around St. Louis that you can create some amazing memories with your family. A few ideas can be…

  • Any of the numerous theaters
  • Top Golf
  • City Museum
  • The Gateway Arch Museum
  • Six Flags
  • Union Station
  • The Fabulous Fox
  • St. Louis Zoo
  • Grants Farm
  • A Cardinals or Blues game

The Christmas Tie

The holidays can’t be complete without dad wearing some crazy holiday tie! So head back on over to Shinesty and grab dad this awesome 8-bit Ugly Christmas tie! They even have a matching suit, so use that information wisely…

The tie even by itself is amazing, I am sure any dad, uncle, or grandpa would love to be sporting this great piece of fashion.

Canvas Print

Always, always, and I mean always a perfect gift for mom is a great canvas print. Smartphones have these great cameras that can take amazing photos and these photos can be printed in high quality and look fantastic on canvas print.

Lazers

Last but not least… a laser! No, not a laser blaster (although that would be cool), what I am referring to is a full spectrum laser. One of these puppies can etch, cut, and help you create some amazing projects. I won’t tell you the price tag but I recommend getting your order placed today!

So there it is! A crazy laser and a bunch of other cool stuff that completes this St. Louis Dad’s holiday gift guide for this year. You are more than welcome to pick me up any of these items, wrapped, and placed under my tree this year.

St. Louis Dad was provided compensation for some items to appears in this gift guide.

Easy Ways To Make Money Online

Making money online has never been easier. And you don’t need to be an expert online to be able to earn money. So if you need that extra money to put towards a new family car or just to have some extra cash, here are some easy ways to make money online.

Review Websites

With a lot of the online world nowadays, having a great website counts and a lot of businesses are willing to invest money into people testing their websites and giving their feedback based on a number of things like the functionality of it, the speed at which it loads and how obvious it is when it comes to distinguishing the purpose of the site. There are a number of sites that recruit website reviewers to help test out client websites, and some make you record your voice as you go, and others will ask you to take notes or give video feedback. There will be others where you need to complete certain tasks, and there might be timing issues with how quickly you can do them on the site, and that might be beneficial for the client to be aware of. Some of these websites can offer quite a bit of money for reviewing a site, and that could be done in your lunch break or at home on the couch.

Play Online Games

Online games are a great way to pass the time, but with some sites, you can actually make money from them. Sites that have a poker hub or gambling are some of the most popular places to make money. There are also a lot of online gaming sites where you build up your account through roleplay, and the value of your account will increase depending on what you get within the game or how far you progress within it. So there’s a real opportunity to earn money whilst playing and having fun online. It’s something that we certainly wouldn’t have expected would be possible a few years back, but it is!

Sell Your Services Online

If you’ve got a talent or skill that you think is worth, then you might want to sell your services online. There’s plenty of websites, like Gumtree being an original example, of advertising your services or finding jobs or tasks that other people will put up. There are sites specific to certain job requirements like handyman services or babysitting. Depending on what it is you want to sell, you can also open online shops, with sites like Etsy.

Start Your Own Blog

Perhaps you’ve got a skill for writing or love discussing topics that create conversation? Owning a blog never really was much of a money earner until now. With blogs in this day and age, you can make money from advertising brands and collaborating on sponsorships. Some have even made full-time careers from it.

Being able to make money online is certainly something we as a generation now have a great privilege to do, so try it out.

Five Fun Activities To Do With Your Children

Keeping your children entertained is one thing but for you to enjoy what they’re doing is something that is often hit and miss. Not every activity you do with your child is going to be a fun one for yourself. However, you should actively look for more things to do with your children, that you can both enjoy equally. Here are five fun activities to do with your children.

Fly A Drone

Drones have certainly gotten a bit of a bad reputation in recent years, mainly because some have been using it to cause trouble. However, there are many benefits to using drones, and as an activity, a drone should also be enjoyed by the everyday family, just like you would with a remote-controlled helicopter toy or flying a kite. Most of the time, drones can be harmless and as long as you use it safely and in an open area, that’s all that matters. You want to be careful about where you’re flying it and where you are as a location. Flying a drone near an airport is going to cause trouble, especially as airports are considered secure areas. So if an unauthorised device is flying into the runway, then it’s going to end badly for you certainly. Be sure to know how to operate a drone safely. When allowing the children to use it, keep an eye on what they’re doing and to take over should they start flying off in the wrong direction. Here are some other options on drones if you’re looking to buy one.

Do Some Baking

Baking is something that most kids are going to enjoy because they’re using the kitchen and cooking with the oven and various other kitchen appliances that they may not have been allowed to touch beforehand. It’s something they’ll likely be very excited about because it’s a very ‘adult’ job for them to be doing. It’s definitely important to get your children to do more baking because it teaches them those life skills that they’ll need when they become adults. Having those life skills are going to be more beneficial than them not having it at all. It’s messy yes, but you also benefit from it as a parent as it’s quality time spent with your child and you get some food to eat afterwards.

Take Them To The Cinema

A trip to the cinema is always exciting, and it’s a good opportunity to get everyone sat down together to watch a film. When you’re watching something from home, you don’t get the same experience because you’re able to come and go as you please. Within a cinema setting, there’s no moving or ability to pause the movie whilst you go and do something in the home. It’s definitely something that’s worth doing every so often as a treat for the whole family to enjoy and to keep the cinema experience alive, even though it’s now much more experience to see a film than it was before.

Have A Picnic In A Local Park

A picnic down your local park is a lovely way to spend quality time with your family. Use it as an opportunity to sit down, relax and watch the world go by. We all have local parks nearby, so pick one local to you and get all the family involved to prep the food that’s going to be eaten as part of the picnic. Pack a blanket or two and get some camping chairs for those who don’t want to sit on the floor. Bring a few games too if the park allows the space to play those sporting activities that require a lot of space.

Take Part In An After-School Class

An after-school class or activity is important for your children to be a part of as they grow, and it helps them to figure out what they want to be doing in life. These after-school classes could be anything like choir practise or learning how to technology better. A class with you and your child working on it together or just enjoying it together will hopefully teach them to explore more as they get older. You want to be a positive influence and role model for them, so use these opportunities to really show how much fun can be head with these after-school classes.

Finding fun activities that you and your children can do together is extremely important to their growth. Use these as a way of bonding with your child and growing the relationship.
