There are few things that say fall in St. Louis<\/em> quite like loading up the family, throwing on some flannel, grabbing a pumpkin and spending the day at a local farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, we have no shortage of places to do exactly that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether your family is looking for a giant pumpkin festival with rides and corn mazes, a traditional farm where you can pick a pumpkin right off the vine, or a smaller local patch where you can get in, grab a pumpkin and get home before the kids start arguing in the back seat, there are plenty of options around the St. Louis area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve put together this guide to some of the best 2026 pumpkin patches, harvest festivals and fall farm experiences around St. Louis and the surrounding area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want the full fall-festival experience<\/strong>, Brookdale Farms is one of the big ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brookdale Farms Fall Festival runs September 11 through November 8, 2026<\/strong>, with different themed weekends throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families can explore the massive corn maze, visit the pumpkin patch, take a wagon ride, visit the petting zoo, ride the barrel train, play lawn games and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also special events throughout the season, including car shows, an American Artisan Weekend, Roots of America Weekend and a Halloween Weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumpkin picking is an additional cost, while general admission includes many of the other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
