Meet Miss Jim and Raja the elephants, Sigfried the walrus, Kali the polar bear, and their many furred, fanged, and finned friends as we explore our Zoo through the decades.

The Story of the Saint Louis Zoo takes readers from the original historic bird, reptile, and primate houses to today’s modern developments in Destination Discovery and WildCare Park, and all that’s in between. Join the Zoo crew, as we celebrate 100-plus years of wonder in The Story of the Saint Louis Zoo.

The Story of the Saint Louis Zoo is available wherever books are sold.

BOOK DETAILS

The Story of the Saint Louis Zoo

by Carolyn Mueller Kelly and Richard Bernal

ISBN: 9781681066516

Hardcover, 11 x 9, 32 pages, $24.00

UPCOMING EVENTS

Book Signing
Saturday, October 3rd, 10am – 12pm
Saint Louis Zoo
1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Free and open to the public

Presentation & Book Signing
Thursday, October 15th, 6:30pm – 8pm
Richmond Heights Memorial Library
8001 Dale Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63117

Free and open to the public

Book Signing
Friday, November 6th, 10am – 1pm
Saint Louis Zoo, Holiday Zootique
1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Free and open to the public

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Carolyn Mueller Kelly is the author of several books on St. Louis and Missouri, from their history to their natural wonders.
