Sixteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m not really sure how that happened, but somehow our little Abby is officially 16 years old today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s still working on mastering the art of driving (pray for all of us), but she\u2019s already mastered so many of the things that make her who she is. She\u2019s a professional nap taker that is funny, full of life, and somehow seems to know everyone. She walks through school saying “hi” to everyone she walks past, and makes a point to remember and wish all of her people a happy birthday. She has one of the kindest hearts you could ever find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, she has a soundtrack for everything. Akon, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Fleetwood Mac, and about a million other artists are constantly playing on her Spotify playlist. Add in some Chad Michael Murray, Gilmore Girls,<\/em> Love Island<\/em>, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower<\/em>, and you\u2019ve pretty much got the Abby starter pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching her grow into the person she is today has been one of the greatest parts of being a dad. Sixteen is a pretty big milestone, and while I\u2019m not quite ready to believe and accept that my little girl is getting this old, I\u2019m incredibly proud of the young woman she\u2019s becoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy Sweet 16th Birthday, Abby! \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep being funny. Keep being kind. Keep saying “hi” to everyone, and keep listening to way too much music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And maybe\u2026 just keep practicing that driving. \ud83d\ude2c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
