The iconic&nbsp;<strong>Oscar Mayer Wienermobile<\/strong>&nbsp;will visit the Museum on&nbsp;<strong>Sunday, July 19, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.<\/strong>, giving guests the opportunity to see the famous hot dog on wheels up close and snap a memorable photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Wienermobile will be parked in front of the&nbsp;<strong>William R. and Laura Rand Orthwein Education &amp; Visitor Center<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>The National Museum of Transportation, 2933 Barrett Station Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122<\/strong>. Guests will be able to visit the Museum&#8217;s permanently displayed Big Boy #4006 while awaiting the arrival of the world&#8217;s largest operating steam locomotive, Big Boy #4014, as it passes the Museum along Union Pacific&#8217;s main line.&nbsp;<strong>The locomotive is expected to pass by the Museum at approximately 10:15 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is an opportunity that is simply not that common,&#8221; said Terri McEachern, Executive Director of The National Museum of Transportation. &#8220;Whether you&#8217;re a lifelong railfan or introducing a new generation to the wonder of steam railroading, seeing two Big Boys in one place is a&nbsp;<strong>memorable<\/strong>&nbsp;experience you won&#8217;t want to miss.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guests are encouraged to come prepared for a summer day outdoors by bringing&nbsp;<strong>water, sunscreen, and a stadium chair<\/strong>.
