St. Louis, MO \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Pin-Up Bowl, the eclectic, intimate bowling alley and lounge nestled in the heart of the Delmar Loop has new owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Popular St. Louis radio personality and musician Moon Valjean — <\/strong>a longtime co-host of The Rizzuto Show<\/strong> on 105.7 The Point — <\/strong>and a touring musician with <\/strong>Goldfinger and Greek Fire, as well as formerly of Story of the Year — has joined restaurant partners Ben Strake<\/strong> and Rick DeStefane<\/strong> of Tamm Ave Bar, Byrd & Barrel, and Tenderloin Room in acquiring the 23-year-old venue from its original owner, Joe Edwards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wanted someone who has the best interests of the neighborhood and The Loop to carry Pin-Up Bowl into the future,\u201d said Edwards. \u201cI\u2019m excited to see more events and partnerships with the community take place in their very capable hands. The future looks bright!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI actually met Joe\u2019s daughter, Christine Edwards, more than five years ago playing pickleball,\u201d said Strake. \u201cWhat started as a shared love of the game eventually led to conversations about business and our similar experiences growing up around the hospitality industry. Years later, I was fortunate that she kept me in mind when her father began considering the sale of one of his businesses. My partners and I have tremendous respect for what Mr. Edwards has built and the care he\u2019s always shown for his community and his people. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity\u2014and responsibility\u2014to carry that torch forward in The Delmar Loop.”  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
