Join author Ashley Key at the Saint Louis Science Center’s Energy Stage for a dazzling northern lights science show and Arctic-themed STEM experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interactive program begins with a lively read-aloud of Ashley’s poetic picture book, Dash and the Lights in the Sky<\/em>, followed by a hands-on Foil Aurora Mask Craft where kids create shimmering aurora-inspired masks to take home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the craft, Ashley will present a live science show using an aurora projector and kid-friendly demonstrations to explain how Earth’s magnetic poles, solar wind, and atmospheric particles create the aurora borealis. Children will watch light, color, and magnetism come alive right before their eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families are encouraged to explore the Science Center’s galleries and STEM exhibits after the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
