St. Louis –<\/strong>\u00a0Put on\u00a0your lederhosen and get ready to raise your steins\u2014Oktoberfest is returning to Westport Plaza on Saturday, October 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Westport Plaza is bringing the spirit of Bavaria straight to St. Louis with a day packed full of fun. Admission to this special event is FREE..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jam out to live tunes from\u00a0Die Spitzbaum<\/strong>\u00a0(11 a.m. to 1 p.m.),\u00a0The\u00a0Wurst Bavarian Band<\/a>\u00a0(2 to 5 p.m.) and\u00a0Ubercool<\/a>\u00a0(6 to 9 p.m.). These bands will have everyone clapping, stomping and singing along. Feel the rhythm as German dancers polka through the plaza with traditional moves from 1 to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How strong is your drinking arm? Test your skills in a traditional stein-holding contest at 7 p.m. in the middle of the Oktoberfest grounds to win a tasty prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
