From 1 to 9 p.m., Westport Plaza is bringing the spirit of Bavaria straight to St. Louis with a day packed full of fun. Admission to this special event is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family Fun, German Food & Drinks<\/strong> German Bands and Dancers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jam out to live tunes from The<\/a> Wurst Bavarian Band<\/a> and Ubercool<\/a>\u2014these bands will have everyone clapping, stomping and singing along. Feel the rhythm as German dancers polka through the plaza with traditional moves from 1 to 8 p.m., and don\u2019t forget to test your own skills in competitions, including a stein-holding contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what\u2019s Oktoberfest without German food? Dive into a delicious spread of sausages from St. Louis’ own GW Sausages, pretzels from Gus’s, and all your Bavarian favorites while you sip on a cold Spaten Oktoberfest and other brews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
