Iconic Sporting Goods Brand Opens One-of-a-Kind ‘Baseball Experience in St. Louis, MO\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ST. LOUIS, MO. \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., the official baseball, glove, helmet, face guard and base of Major League Baseball\u00ae and the creator of the renowned Rawlings Gold Glove Award\u00ae, announced today the grand opening of its new Experience center located in Westport Plaza alongside its new corporate office that opened in late 2023. The \u2018Rawlings Experience\u2019 opened on Fri. April 12th<\/sup>, and is accessible to the general public and serve as a free attraction for local residents as well as tourists visiting the St. Louis area.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Many don\u2019t realize that Rawlings\u2019 world headquarters has been located in St. Louis since the company’s inception in 1887 first as a retail store, then with corporate offices, so we knew we had a prime opportunity to increase our presence in our own backyard, a historical baseball town that spans generations,\u201d said Mike Thompson, chief marketing officer for Rawlings. \u201cWe couldn\u2019t wait to unite the greatest brand in baseball with the greatest fans in baseball here in St. Louis by giving them a glimpse into Rawlings\u2019 compelling history and future.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rawlings Experience will feature the brand\u2019s premier product portfolio comprised of ball gloves, bats, protective gear, apparel and customized items for purchase, and visitors can also demo the baseball and softball bats in the batting cage area powered by HitTrax\u00ae data capture and simulation technology. An additional highlight of the Experience will be the \u2018Rawlings Glove Vault\u2019 showcasing the past, present and future of gloves with a lineup of current and historic Rawlings Gold Glove Awards\u00ae, and one-of-one limited-edition gloves including one embellished with more than 15,000 hand-applied Swarovski\u00ae crystals. Also, included in the \u2018Rawlings Experience\u2019 are several large statues for photo-opportunities including a giant replica of Rawlings\u2019 official MLB\u00ae game ball as well as a 10\u2019 Rawlings Gold Glove Award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
