God, what a nerd! The kids have other ideas and prefer to sit inside and play video games. Back in your day, this wasn\u2019t an option yet the world is changing at a rapid pace. Still, some moderate complaining never deters a determined dad. So, with all of your persuasive powers and patience, you get them outside in the sun.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, this isn\u2019t too\u2026sweet baby Jesus \u2013 will they ever shut up?! Sorry, but the previous studies found that kids love to moan and don\u2019t have an off button. You\u2019re going to have to deal with it or give in and go back inside with your tail between legs. Usually, men pick the latter. It\u2019s something to do with the path of least resistance.<\/p>\n<p>There is an alternative, one where you can have your cake and eat it too. It\u2019s called compromising. Here are four examples you can try with the kids.<\/p>\n<p>Cycling<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They won\u2019t mind riding a bike, right? It isn\u2019t as if they\u2019re competing in the Tour de France. Before they know it, the 10 kilometers will fly by and they\u2019ll be back home, tired out from the day\u2019s activities. Of course, they hate the idea of riding along with their dad <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/stlouisdad.com\/s\/common-dad-injuries-you-need-to-know-about\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wearing an unflattering helmet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and looking like a five-year-old kid. Plus, they aren\u2019t too happy about the physical element of cycling. Can\u2019t a machine do that in 2018?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The answer is yes, yes it can. Nowadays, it\u2019s possible to ride a push bike with a motor. So, you can pedal and get your daily dose of exercise on the flats while conserving energy going uphill. What\u2019s great about this is that kids love new technology.<\/p>\n<p>So, they won\u2019t even remember to be embarrassed about being seen with their dad. Everyone\u2019s a winner!<\/p>\n<p>Hiking<\/p>\n<p>At least with hiking there won\u2019t be anyone around. So, they can complain all the way to the top and be safe in the knowledge their street credibility won\u2019t suffer. Still, there are only small mercies because they are guaranteed to complain from the bottom to the summit. Thank the heavens it\u2019s a small hill and not Mount Everest.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The good news is that your old friend technology is on hand to help. Think about what the kids would like the most. Have you got an answer? Good, is it a ride to the top? It should be because if they could hitch a lift, they\u2019d be gone before the dust settled. Well, the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestelectricrides.com\/best-off-road-hoverboards-all-terrain\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">top all terrain scooters<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can make it happen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>As the name suggests, they are reliable off-road and motorized. Let\u2019s face facts \u2013 the kids are going to hate life. Yep, they are sure are if you opt for a traditional set-up. For those who go modern, the experience is bound to be a quieter one, a trip where they may be grateful rather than eternally unappreciative. The Holy Grail.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rvcoutdoors.com\/11-differences-between-camping-and-glamping\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Glamping is a new craze<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where tents are huge and there is electricity. Oh, and the showers and toilets that aren\u2019t disgusting. All in all, it\u2019s like being at home but in the Great Outdoors. A safari is a once-in-a-lifetime thing which costs thousands of dollars. It\u2019s in Africa which is a 20-hour flight away and it\u2019s hot and muggy and sweaty. Plus, there are wild beasts that can turn over the open Jeep and chow down on everyone for dinner. Where do you sign up?<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it takes a lot of organization to book flights, accommodation and a safari-tour in Africa. And, it won\u2019t be cheap, not even in your wildest dreams. Still, this is one vacation where the kids will love every minute and remember it for the rest of their lives.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to everyone who has been, there is nothing like seeing a lion in the flesh. If the pride of cats don&#8217;t play ball, then there are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lookiwasthere.com\/africa\/travel-guide\/safari\/what-animals-you-see-on-african-safari\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">zebras, wildebeest, hippos, elephants<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and rhinos. Maybe you\u2019ll spot another big cat, such as a cheetah or a leopard.
