My daughter has been going crazy over emoji’s since she figured them out. A few months ago when the movie was announced I haven’t stopped hearing about it from her. And when the trailer came out my daughter has been asking me every single day if the movie is playing yet. Now I am excited to take her to this awesome party hosted at the movies!

Join in on the fun July 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to noon for a free “The Emoji Movie” Party to celebrate the opening of the new film at select St. Louis-area Marcus Wehrenberg Theatres! Families will love this free children’s party featuring emoji-themed crafts, treats and more. This fun outing makes a perfect play date, birthday party or just an excuse to go to the movies!

Party activities include:
· Make-your-own emoji coasters, ping pong balls and stickers
· Coloring stations

· Free snacks
· And more!

After the party stay for “The Emoji Movie!” Showtimes available soon. Admission sold separately.

Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite emojis live. In this world, each emoji only has one facial expression — except for Gene, an exuberant emoji who was born without a filter. Determined to become like the other emojis, Gene and his best friend Hi-5 embark on an epic “app-venture!”

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
