I love Father’s Day. It’s that time of the year when I get hand made cards, big hugs, and it’s totally okay for me to sleep as long as I want. Most of the time, my wife and I do not get gifts on our specified day. We normally get whatever we want any other time of the year. So we look for special things that you can’t exactly put a price on. But we like opening presents too!

Here is a look at some of the items I think dads all over the world would love this Father’s Day.

1) Feltman’s Original Coney Island Hot Dogs
As you can read from my post from last month, these hot dogs are so delicious. Any dad would love throwing these on the grill this summer. These tasty hot dogs are peppered with the Original Frankfurter Spice Blend, the way hot dog inventor, Charles Feltman, started it all!

2) Not Your Father’s Mountain Ale
Basically, it’s Mountain Dew beer and it is delicious. Only available at select locations so be sure to grab it when you see it because this dad has it on every grocery list. This delicious brew was found by my wife and I at St. Louis’ annual Microfest. We got lucky and won some tickets some the tasty Mission Taco and during our tasting we discovered the holy grail of craft beer and that is Not Your Father’s Mountain Ale.

3) Toys from the Trailerkid eBay Store!
They’re used toys, but hey my kids are selling them and there is some neat stuff for good prices. Inventory is changing all of the time so be sure to check it out daily. The kids are doing a great job putting together the items they want to sell. Each item sold comes with a handwritten “thank you” note!

4) Tritium Vial
These things are so cool. I want one or twenty. Read up on them if you have never heard of them. They would make an awesome key chain. I have my head 3D printed that I want to shove one of these up in. Then I can have my head glowing all of the time! How awesome would that be? But first I gotta get one of these.

5) Angel’s Envy Whiskey
Another drink… but hey it has a pretty compelling father-son-grandson legacy story behind it? Angel’s Envy is the culmination of the late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s storied career. He was one of the original pioneers of premium bourbons and whiskeys, and came out of retirement to create a whiskey masterpiece on his own terms, which ended up being Angel’s Envy.

The company was co-founded and is now run by his son, Wes Henderson, and Lincoln’s grandson Kyle is following in his grandfather’s footsteps, training to become a master distiller.

Angel’s Envy’s flagship Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels tastes fantastic. Perfectly crafted for anyone that loves a tasty beverage and unique enough to stand out from the rest. Plus, I think it’d make a great gift for dad on Father’s Day.

Let’s face it, there are going to be many gift guides and lots of great ideas. The ones I mentioned here are tasty, cool, and fun. They are all worth picking up for the greatest dad in the world. Even if you can’t afford one of these gifts, I’m sure anything you can come up with will work just as well. A cup of coffee, a big hug, or even just a warm smile. I think we all can show dad that we are thankful for him this Father’s Day.

Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
