IMG_1222So another Tuesday is making its big debut in just a few days. Normally there isn’t much excitement about Tuesdays unless there’s a World Series game playing. Except every four years we have a Tuesday that is significantly more important than any other Tuesday of the year. We get to pick a President. Think and say what you want about the nominees this year. I have my opinions about them, but one thing I have always believed is that you do not talk about politics or religion in public or at the dinner table. You never know who you might offend. So, that is one thing that I have desperately tried to do this election season. I have kept my mouth shut pretty much the whole time. I haven’t posted any comments trying to defend one candidate over another, nor have I written any posts here on this site about the upcoming election. Aside from this post, I still don’t plan on it.

The reason for this post is to just to say that I have read hundreds of posts and comments. I have watched the videos and investigated the memes. I have seen the name calling and the mud slinging. It’s kind of crazy. I don’t care if you support Hillary or Trump. I am not concerned about why you choose one person over the other. I still think you’re awesome.

People say that politics can bring out the worst in some people. Maybe they are right. But that doesn’t bother me. It just shows that you are passionate about something. I am passionate about stuff too, just not politics. I have my opinions about what could be done better, what is wrong, and what is right, but I keep it to myself and with a few private friends.

I just want my readers to know that no matter the outcome, I think you are still awesome. Win or lose, you rock. You did your job as a citizen and voted.

I'm a 40-year-old father blessed with two wonderful children: a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. My life revolves around my beautiful wife, who is the cornerstone of our family. Without her unwavering support, none of what I do would be possible. By day, I serve as a network administrator for a local school district, ensuring smooth operations in the realm of technology. During the evenings, you'll often find me engrossed in various creative pursuits, from illustrating books to crafting websites or composing music. But above all, my priority is spending quality time with my kids. Parenthood has been a profound journey of growth and discovery for me, and now, armed with a keyboard instead of a pen, I'm eager to share my experiences and insights with others.
