Military Discounts and Deals on Entertainment
Members of the US military have access to different discounts in different areas of the entertainment industry whether it is cultural museums, theme parks or sports arenas. If you are a veteran or a current member of the US military, have a look at the following list of deals. It is important to note that you must present your military ID in order to access most if not all of these offers.
9/11 Memorial Museum | Active duty service persons, as well as, retirees have free admission while veterans get discounted ticket price.
9/11 Tribute Center | Here, the military discount is $5 on a regular ticket hence the pay is $10.
AMC Theatres | The theatres in a participation of this offer give military personnel discounts during certain days of the week or during different times. It is important to check with your local theatre for more detailed information.
Arizona Diamondbacks | There is a 50% discount on up to four tickets for all Sunday home games this season for active duty military, reserve, veterans, retiree and any active or retired fire and police personnel. Note however that this offer cannot be paired up with another offer and does not include all-you-can-eat tickets.
Augustine Golf Club | The golf club offers discounts to active duty military personnel and police personnel.
Baltimore Orioles | The Orioles offer a $5 discount on all tickets for military members and their families at the Oriole Park Box Office. Those who wish to get bigger discounts should get in touch with their ITT/Leisure Travel office. In addition, active duty members can receive a gift hat at the Fan Assistance Warehouse.
Blue Star Theatre| Participating Blue Star Theatres are giving discounts or complimentary admission to active duty military and their families. This offer also extends to veterans.
Bronx Zoo | Bronx Zoo offers a free regular ticket to active duty personnel or reserve members. There is also a 50% discount for up to three family members.
Busch Gardens | There is free one-day admission for active duty personnel and up to three dependents. There is also complimentary admission per year, per person to the park of their choice. Note however that this offer is not available at the front gate.
Callaway Gardens | There is free entry for active duty or retired military members and their spouse. There is a 50% discount on tickets for up to four guests granted they arrive in the same vehicle. For Special events, military members and up to five guests in the same vehicle receive 50% discount on tickets. Veterans also receive half-price tickets.
Camelback Mountain | Discount of $10 for active military and up to 4 card-carrying dependents. Veterans with valid DD-124 or active driver’s license are eligible for this offer.
Chicagoland Speedway | Active duty and retired military personnel receive a 25% discount in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series event.
Cincinnati Reds | There are discounted tickets for select games for active military and their families. The code MLAPPR should be used when purchasing tickets online.
Cinemark Movie Theatres | Participating locations offer discounted rates. It is important to contact your local theatre ahead of time as discount days and times change.
Coronado Speed Festival | Free admission is available for active duty military and their immediate dependents. Retired military and DOD members receive discounts on adult tickets.
Crayola Experience | There is a discount of $3 on admission for military members.
Crime Museum | Discounted rates are offered for military personnel.
Del Mar Racetrack | Free admission for active duty military and their dependents every day to Stretch Run.
Detroit Mountain | 20% discount for active duty or veterans for regular price daily lift tickets and equipment only. There is no discount for already discounted offers or special offers.
Detroit Tigers | Active duty and veterans receive half-price Upper Box infield and Upper reserved tickets to all 2015 Monday-Thursday regular season home games with exception to June 9 and 10. Presentation of valid ID is necessary during a purchase at Comerica Park Box Office with a limit of 4 tickets per buyer.
Disneyland | For three days of admission at the discounted price of $132 available to active duty, retirees, National Guard, reserves and their spouses. There are also special military offers at select Disneyland hotels.
Disney World | For four days of admission at the discounted price of $177 available to active duty, retirees, reserves, National Guard and their spouses with special military offers at select Disney resort hotels.
Dollywood | 30% discount on single-day admission tickets for military personnel including veterans and reservists, their spouses and dependents. Tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
The DoSeum | Discount of $1 during the time of purchase at front desk.
Fandango | There are discounted movie tickets at different movie theatres found by looking for the ‘military discount’ category. Prior contact with your local theatre is important, as discounts are different.
Fleet Week Football Classic | Discounted game vouchers available for all military personnel and their families at the Navy MWR and Marine Corps ticket outlets.
George W. Bush Presidential Center | Free admission for active duty and discounted pricing for retirees.
Great Wolf Lodge | Free water park admission and up to 20% room discount with code HEROES for active duty and veterans. This offer is valid from 1 p.m. on the day of check-in up to closing of departure day.
Hershey Park | $20 off regular single-day tickets and $4 off up to 8 junior/senior admissions.
Houston Astros | Discounts for most games on Monday-Thursday for active duty and veterans. Up to 8 discounted tickets can be bought per person at the minute maid park box office and select Ticketmaster outlets at local military bases.
Intrepid Museum | Free admission for active duty and retirees.
Kennedy Space Center | $4 off regular tickets for active military and 10% discount on merchandise and food.
Knoebels | Free $40 book of ride tickets for active duty and reservists and free $20 book of ride tickets for retirees and veterans.
LEGOLAND parks | Free admission for active duty at LEGOLAND Florida and seasonally at LEGOLAND Waterpark.
Los Angeles Dodgers | Available discounted tickets for all military personnel. Up to four tickets per military personnel can be purchased two hours before game time.
Marathon Classic | Free entry for active duty and one guest as well as free entry for kids below 17.
Maryland National Club | 40% off for active duty and retired personnel.
McNay Art Museum | 50% off for active duty.
Miami Marlins | All military personnel receive complimentary tickets provided they receive these tickets two hours before first pitch.
Minnesota Twins | Active duty or veteran and 4 guests receive 50% discount in Home plate View seating locations.
Morgan’s Wonderland | $6 off for active duty and retirees
Mount Snow | Military personnel receive free Fanfare Card.
Museum of Modern Art | There is free entry for active duty and military families with dependent cards. Select government employees are eligible for one free ticket.
National Baseball Hall of Fame | Different discounts for military personnel and their families.
The National Parks and Federal Recreational Land Pass | Complimentary yearly pass for active duty, reserve, dependents and National Guard.
New York Aquarium | Free admission for active duty or reserve members and discount for family members.
New York Yankees | Active duty can receive one complimentary ticket for Monday- Thursday home games.
Patuxent Greens Golf Club | Military personnel, DOD civilians, active police officers, fire and corrections officers qualify for annual Hero memberships at a discount. There is also a $4 discount on daily charges.
PGA Tour | There are free and discounted rates to specific events for all military personnel.
Philadelphia Phillies | All military members and their guests get an $8 discount on regular tickets in specific locations during select games.
Pinehurst | Active duty and retirees get 20% discount on core packages and select spa therapies.
Pocono Raceway| there is a 15% discount on tickets.
San Antonio Zoo | Military personnel receive $3 off their tickets.
San Diego Padres | All military personnel and their family receive a 25% discount on select seats. Military members are also eligible for 50% off available tickets on Sunday regular season home games.
San Diego Zoo | There is a free admission of active duty, reserves and academy cadets.
Seattle Mariners | 10% discount on select seats with a limit of 4 tickets per ID.
SeaWorld | Complimentary entry to active duty, reserves and National Guard members.
Sesame Place | There is complimentary admission for active duty, reserves and National Guard members.
Showcase Cinemas | Showcase offers discounts to active duty and their dependents in most of their locations.
Sierra at Tahoe | On Sunday, there is free skiing or riding for active duty limited to one single-day ticket.
Six Flags Amusement Parks | Military personnel receive a 20%discount on a single-day ticket.
Spy Museum | Active duty receive a $6 discount on their ticket.
Squaw Mountain | Active duty personnel receive a discounted season pass.
St. Louis Cardinals | Military personnel and their family and friends receive a special all-inclusive offer.
Sugarloaf | There is a $10 discount for military personnel and one immediate family member.
Sycuan Golf Resort| Active duty and retirees get discounted prices on championship courses.
Texas Rangers | All military personnel receive discounted tickets in select seating areas.
Ticket Monster | All military personnel receive a 15% discount on tickets.

Virginia Beach National Golf Club | Discounted rates for military personnel.
Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum | There is a $1 discount for active duty personnel.
Washington Nationals | All military personnel and their dependents receive discounted tickets.
Water Country USA | Active duty reserves and National Guard members receive 1 complimentary admission per year that covers up to 3 dependents.
Winter Park | There are seasonal discounted prices for active duty or retirees.
Witte Museum | $1 discount for active duty and their dependents.
World of Coca-Cola | There are complimentary entry tickets for active duty, reserve and retirees with regular rates applying to their family members or guests.
Yosemite National Park | The park offers a free yearly pass for active duty and their dependents.
